A handler's eye, a dog lover's heart
Suzie came to Oak Hill from Scotland after an accomplished police career in the UK, much of it spent as a police dog handler. Years of working alongside dogs taught her to read them closely, to notice the small things, and to bring a calm, steady presence to every day.
Today she brings that same quiet authority and attention to detail to every guest in her care, along with a lifelong love of dogs that has never once wavered. Your dog is understood, settled, and genuinely cherished.

Your dog enters our home and becomes part of the family for their entire stay. Our family is on site, so dogs enjoy real companionship and a true home routine, alongside our own two dogs. For dogs who prefer their own space, we can keep them comfortably separate from other dogs.
Our home sits on two private acres in Oak Hill. Many of our regulars can't wait to get out of the car and run into the house when they arrive.

We are deliberately selective about how many dogs stay with us at one time, and we hold strictly to that rule. It is what allows every dog to receive individual attention and every instruction to be followed precisely. Because space is limited, we recommend booking early, especially for holidays.
